INTEL, BX80580X3320 Quad Core Xeon X3320 Processor
What would happen if I put this processor on my MSI 1722 ID2? Will it work? What are the pros and cons?

Pros: You have given Intel money to continue producing processors.
Cons: The chip physically won't fit in the laptop, and now your laptop no longer turns on.

lol thanx! haha one silly question answered, one helpful information gathered!\

BTW, I wanna change my T9400 ES with C0 steeping to a quad core.. Any ideas where I could get cheap ones?

NOTE: I did not build the laptop myself, it was pre-configured. I didn't know about ES CPU's until now. Hence I wanna change it coz I wanna run x64 and people said that my processor might be causing it not to run.

eBay has cheap Q9100's, You have to update the bios for it to work.

I have the latest bios, I'm usin 1.0T of the GX720. I checked ebay and most of them are cheap but ES versions. If you could PM me a good price range of the CPU's that you mentioned I would greatly appreciate it.
