Actually, what's the "white" part about? I'm looking at the Dell XPS M1330, btw.
And a couple other questions...
How easy is it to upgrade laptops (specifically video cards)? I'm seeing this the XPS M1330 has a 128MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 8400M GS video card but I'm guessing I might want to upgrade that at some point (if I do go for this laptop anyway). Is this card/laptop any good for gaming?
Can't remember the third question so we'll have to wait a but for that.

The card is only good enough for older games or new games and low settings. You cant upgrade it.

I believe the white part is describing the light that the LED's emit. One of the benefits of LED's is that they emit a whiter white that traditional screens. This can help produce more accurate colors etc.
Video and Processors etc are not designed to be user replaceable, so although it may not be impossible it will probably be difficult. -
For most laptops, the CPU, RAM, wireless card and hard drive are accessible. For all but a select few, the video is not upgradeable.
Yeah, as CodeMonkeyX said, it's the color of the LED backlight. You'd hope it's not blue or something - that'd mess up colors pretty bad!
What's a "Slim and Light White LED Display"?
