Willing to fork out around $200 for it. I care about loading time for source engine games and general game performance. Which drive is going to be the best for me? Size of the SSD doesn't matter to me. (I can even live with 40GB but I heard the bigger size ones are better now) Any inputs? I don't understand all the sequential read/write speed, just need one that's good for loading large maps consistently and maybe for hosting too, thanks a lot.

what G73 do you own?? JH, JW, SW?? If its a JH or JW i would go for Intel 320 Series SSDSA2CW120G3K5 2.5" 120GB or SAMSUNG 470 Series MZ-5PA128/US 2.5" 128GB
If its an SW, consider Crucial M4 128 GB 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SATA 6Gb/s CT128M4SSD2 or Crucial Technology 128 GB Crucial RealSSD C300 Series Solid State Drive CTFDDAC128MAG-1G1 -
Oops I didn't know there's a difference for SSD for different models. It'll be for the G73SW.

Sata II versus Sata III. The SW has sata III so you can make use of the fast bus and faster drives like the Crucial...
