I saw some posts saying that it had some problems,I couldn't find any post that specificies what's wrong with it.So far I found only found two reviews of it,in both the perfomance is good(maybe not the best, but pretty good),is it something related to power consumption or reliability?I tried to found a review that measured the power consumption as it was one of the reasons I got it,but I couldn't find any,is there any out there?

There seems to be an issue with random write latency. Multiple simulataneous writes to the device, or reading and writing at the same time causes the whole OS to freeze for a second or two. It seems to be a problem with the Jmicron controller which is used in several MLC SSDs.

These article has a great analysis on the issues

Also you can check out OCZ's forums which have alot of buyer complaints on the core and core v2 series.

The first one gives very detailed information, thanks.About the controller, does all ocz cores come with it?I already got mine,so now it's too late,if they are not always the same controller I might have some hope.

From what I've been reading OCZ and many of the other MLC based SSDs
SuperTalent, Patriot and Silicon Power all have the same Jmicron controller in all their products.

Try and get a return if possible..
