    Hi

Looking to upgrade RAM for my laptop and just wondering what the coolest running 2-4 gig set out there is right now? DDR2 of course. The reason I ask is because I upgraded my old laptop with some ballistix last time around and that area was just scortching hot as a result, and want to avoid that happening again.

I don't game, so don't need some ultra fast hot running parts, just cool and quality.

    thanks :)

Hm... I don't know of anywhere that shows temp comarisons, but I have owned both Corsair and Crucial and have had 0 issues with them as far as performance and heat. :)

    Hope this helps! :D

Does not matter. Buy the cheapest with lifetime warranty.

Don't get any of the enthusiast or higher clocked ram. Just buy crucial. Crucial.com

200-pin DDR2 RAM doesn't get very hot. You can checkout Newegg. There were some some good deals there on the 4GB Kit DDR2-800 Modules from G.Skill and OCZ.

    (BTW which CPU ??)
