See laptop in sig , i fancy some more space... ive got a 120 gb 7200 rpm drive , 120 gb 5400 rpm drive and loadsa ide drives...
My lappy takes sata drives... i wanna know what would be best to get more space at the same speeds if not faster... im prepared to sell any/all of my drives. Im looking for the maximum my laptop can hold really so i need to know how large a hard drive my system can recognise.

The 320GB Toshiba MK3252GSX is expected very soon but is likely to have a premium price until some other manufacturers offer 300GB+ products.

I just installed a 2.5" WD Scorpio 250GB SATA drive in my HP dv2000z. It was so simple to do! The drive is super quiet.
