    When are we going to see i3/5 SB in notebooks?

    What? The new MBP line already has the newest generation i5 processors or did you mean in PC manufacturers? Dell DID offer it on the newest XPS 15 but then removed it for some reason..

    In what? The only notebook I have seen an SB i5 in is the 13'' MBP, like tsunade said. There are a handle of PCs with the quad-core SB processors shipping now but for some reason there are none with i5 SB processors. Is there as reason for this, considering they were released at the same time?

    The i3s/i5s weren't released at the same time as the i7s. They were released about a month and a half later (the first i7s were officially released January 5th, the rest were released February 20th). And they're readily available in machines like the Clevo/Sagers.

    Oh, and just to clarify, I'm talking about the mobile i7s and mobile i5s/i3s. I don't pay much attention to desktop. >.>

    Quad core i7 released Jan 5th, dual core's released Feb 20th. Some dual core SB notebooks:

    • Acer 2nd Gen TimelineX
    • Whole lot of Asus's
    • Dell XPS/Latitude/Precision

    • MBP
    • Sony Vaio SA/SB/C
    • Thinkpads
    • Toshiba R/Qosmio Series
