When will we start learning about new haswell laptops/ultrabooks/hybrids?
And what do all of you expect to come?

Faster cpu due to possible 15nm implementation (maybe not until end of next year due to tick tock process) and faster igpu. The same as every new intel gen release :D

Probably at Computex, right alongside Intel's official Haswell launch. As usual, some laptops will be available with Haswell immediately upon launch, others might not be available for a few weeks/months.

Release news is all speculative at the moment still. But here is a performance preview for now - though done with a ES chip it seems.

I'm quite surprised Intel let somebody review an ES chip.

It's a shame Tom's Hardware only got their hands on the boring quad core desktop Haswell chips. Given how Intel's been saying for ages that Haswell will focus on power consumption and new form factors rather than performance, nobody's expecting those to deliver an earth shattering performance improvement that will revolutionize computing.

On the other hand, a review of the U-series and especially the Y-series chips would be incredibly interesting.

First ones may be desktop CPU's. And that's good for laptops without dedicated GPU's, but I think many vendors will wait until nVidia releases their 700m lineup.

They have been available as of early this month. Desktop counterparts have yet to be announced.
