    I wanted to know how soon you think HP will offer Penryn on a 17" model (w/8600).

    When do you think?

    And how much with these specs?

    (45-nm Penryn) Core 2 Duo T9300
    nVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS or GT
    2GB DDR2 RAM
    80GB HDD or higher
    17" LCD

    $1500 Maybe? - If there is another brand that will be chaeper (other than Dell or Gateway) please tell me.
