    When will montevina be in Canada?

    Title says it all. I want a notebook before my vacation at the end/middle of august. I asked a person at dell.ca and they said ETA, HPcanada has no models out yet, Thinkpads are coming out soon with it... but nobody knows when!

    Gah! i don't see why we Canadians must wait!

    You can scream all you want. It'll just falls on deaf ears. Speak with your money. Buy another brand. Wait until you need the laptop and get the brand that offers what you want for your money. The best you can do as a consumer is to put the pain where it hurts them the most. You have the power to keep them in business.

    HP Canada has a few dv5 models out as of today and one dv7t laptop though they are all really overpriced imo. Other than that the only ones that I know of is the thinkpad sl and the vaio fw.

    Oh! i haven't check today! i also found the thinkpad SL500 Series have it. But no extra warranty option! weeeird

    HPcanada has the dv5, but nowhere is selling it yet :( not even hpshopping.ca

    xoticpc is shipping sager notebooks with montevina to Canada, Eurocom is selling M860TU as well =)

    I didn't even think Dell had Montevina out here in the US yet...so I doubt it'll be in Canada
