I believe that only the 200GB version is on the market now, but the high capacity version will probably be released in a couple of months.
However, I don't really think its worth it. You can buy a similar, 320GB HDD, with a 8MB cache, rather than a 16MB cache. And, its likely to be a lot cheaper the Momentus HDD, when it comes out. -
Is an 8MB cache better than 16MB? I was always under the impression the higher the cahce the better.
I also thing the Seagate Momentus is a great company to buy hard drives from, at least, better than samsung. -
16mb cache is better than 8mb cache, how ever the exact peformance increase is nearly negligible
