So, I'd like to upgrade my gfx card to a Nvidia 9800 GTX, but i read that the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700M is more stable, where could a purcahse a 9800 GTX or a NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700M from.

And how much do i expect to pay for one of these?

good luck with that, their is no way your upgrading your 9600GT to a Quadro 3700M or a 9800GTX
The two cards you want are physically larger and consume probably about 3x as much power as your 9600mGT, so its not happening.

what KTRON said, laptops 99% of the time cannot upgrade the GPU.

does not matter if its a custom build.... only the high-end 17" Clevo notebooks can handle a Quadro 3700M upgrade.

no way in hell a little 15.4" mid-range notebook can handle that.

its custom cause he "swapped" parts not because it is actually custom.

also are you sure DDR3 RAM will work? i dont think your chipset will support it, just make sure before you spend money.
