    I have a gateway M505XL. Sure, it's considered a dinosaur but probably is my favorite multimedia laptop. The thing is as quiet as a tombstone. Anyway, the LCD bezel is broken and though I can still open and close, it is in very bad shape. If anyone have any idea where I can get the "shell" so I can transplant this baby into it, I would appreciate very much.

    Specifically, if you can find a junked one that someone's just trying to get a few bucks out of as a part notebook, you could salvage the bezel off that. ;)

    - I tried Gateway Support a couple months ago, I can't even download drivers for this laptop. Apparently they sold this line to some other company.

    - I know it's going to be a long shot, but if someone somewhere dropped this baby in the bathtub, it would be a perfect candidate for my frankenstein.
