Hi, last week my laptop screen wouldn't come on so I took it to my local computer repair shop. They told me that one of my sticks of RAM has died and my laptop is now only running with 1gb (gulp!)
They still have it at the shop as I'm not going that way until monday. So I was going to order some more ram from Crucial. Going through the 'Crucial memory adivsor tool' I don't actually know the model of my laptop.
I've dug out the booklets that came with it and on the sticker it has
Packard Bell EasyNot TJ Series
Model No: MS2285
Part No: 60.BDAAM.GB1
60BDAAMGB1-V4
After numerous searches on google, I still can't find out what model I have. Any suggestions?

Try this:
1. Go to your desktop.
2. Click 'Start' on the bottom left of the screen.
3. Mouse over 'Programs' > 'Accessories' > 'System Tools'
4. Click on 'System Information'.
5. Your computer's manufacturer, model, etc. will be listed on the following page.
But you will need to have your computer for that.
Worked for me Win7 64 -
SlickDude80 Notebook Prophet
You can also download HWINFO64 or HWINFO32 for 32 bit windows and it will tell you everything about your computer
