Where do mid size companies order their laptops, parts from?

Dell and other big manufactures order them in 1,000 so that they can get the price down, but mid size firm order parts, bare bones etc in 100.

I know that there are firms like clevo but on their web page there is no info how to order from them. And some of them are based in China, India. Are there any in europe.

I was thinking of seting up a firm myself and produce laptops on a small scale. Whare can I find more info on how to start such a venture. Maybe there is someone out there who builds a laptop sales it to you and you can put your name on it.

    Any directions and advice.?

They order them directly from the manufacturers (Intel, Nvidia, AMD, etc.), which will pretty much only sell them in bulk 1k+ amounts, you could try make deals to get 100 parts, otherwise your best best for small orders is www.newegg.com
