    Northbridge is under heatsink/heatpipe assembly. Remove that to expose it.

    Well, I can hack bios but can't solder.

    This board is very common (although prone to overheating damage - this one is already dead). Comes in every amd based HP dv6000 and Compaq v6000 series laptop.
