    you can't install it on your notebook if that's what you are trying to do. There are few laptops which you can switch the graphics component.

    No only the Dell XPS 1530 has GDDR3. The Dell Inspiron 1520 has never had the GDDR3.

    Well now that Dell has released the XPS m1530 with the 8600GT GDDR3 256MB they won't update the graphics card in the Dell Inspiron 1520.

    I don't know if i'm really right but yesterday, my 8600M GT get replaced and i seen everything, and, if i'm right, the two cards we can see (7900GTX & 7950GTX) are the same as 8600M GT.
