I looked on newegg.com just to see if I could find something similar to what I've already got, but didn't find it, only PC4200. I went to Best Buy and found the same thing, but really expensive. Where can I find 200 pin DDR2 SDRAM PC4300 233MHz. I have 2x 256MB sticks in my notebook, and want to leave one in and upgrade to 1.25GB. Is PC4200 good enough where it won't cause compatibility issues? Does PC4300 exist anymore?

PC4300 and PC4200 are the same thing. It's the maximum data transfer rate. Some companies round up, some round down.

Thanks, i didn't realize PC4200 and PC4300 were the same thing. I want to get a 1 gig stick, not 2x 512MB, I want to have 1.25, I have 2x 256Mb now. I'll just take one out and put in the 1GB.
