Now this is a tough one, newegg has a retail T9300 for $325 right now. eWiz has a OEM T9500 for $240 right now. I wouldn't mind saving $85 and getting a little extra oomph too.
I've ordered from the egg before and haven't had any problems. Getting a retail processor gets a warranty from Intel which is nice. I don't plan on OCing or testing the limits of a new CPU.
I've never purchased anything from eWiz (which seems to be changing its name too?) and it seems that their return policy for CPUs could be questionable. I'm on the east coast and 14 days is from the invoice date would give me virtually no time to receive the CPU, install it and return it if it comes DOA.
Anyone have experience with eWiz?

They seem reliable enough. -
I've bought a couple things from eWiz before; they've never given me trouble. Definitely get the OEM T9500. I used one in my last Santa Rosa-based laptop and it was a great processor. Once you install it, it will either work or it won't; it won't slowly die over a month.

CPU's may die in a few weeks although they perform well when you install it. However the "infant mortality" rate drops sharply as time passes. (and this is due to the manufacturing defects)
It would be the best to stress out a new CPU during the first 2-3 weeks to see how it performs. If it does not fail, it will serve you for several years...

Hmm. Maybe in the case of BGA processors modded with soldered pins...but I can honestly say that among all the processors I've used and installed in the past 6 years, they either failed upon being put into their sockets, or lasted for years and never died.
Where to buy my T9300 or T9500?!
