    Hey,

Well I'm pretty sure this has been already asked, and I'm sorry for bringing it up again if it has.

I wanted to know where would I look to buy notebook parts? I already know I can upgrade my GPU from an NVIDIA GTX 260m to a 460m, I just want to know where can I buy it from other than the company itself.

    Thanks in advance.

Upgrade your GPU? Got surface-mount soldering capability?

Seriously, take a look at this video:

    YouTube - ‪Dell Latitude D620,630,820,830 Video Card Failure‬‏

That's the process of replacing the GPU chip in a typical Dell. Now, changing the GPU to a different model may require a different motherboard, and may even require different heatsinks.

Ya Alienware, Clevo, ASUS, MSI and older Acer utilize MXM or some proprietary form of MXM and are upgradable.

You can find plenty of Dell cards either on Ebay, here in NBR Marketplace, or MXM Upgrade (based in EU though).
