    I didn't know a 2GB Turbo Memory module exists.

However, Turbo Memory failed to deliver the expected benefits and isn't worth the effort of getting it working. I tried it in the hope that it would extend the battery time by letting the hard disk sleep, but in reality there was no difference. You can get a 1GB Turbo Memory module here. However, you will get bette value for money by upgrading your RAM to 3GB, if not there already.

Perhaps Turbo Memory 2 will be better.

Ah! That's Turbo Memory 2. I wait with interest to see whether that can deliver. Maybe once Montevina officially arrives (on 15th July) then we will see it in more places. The software to integrate this with the operating system is at least as critical as the hardware.

I would assume that TM 2 is not compatible with the original Turbo Memory until we have evidence to the contrary.

you can try here for 4GB but it is a half Mini PCI express, http://www.vitamobility.com/productdetail?product=114342

I am trying to find a full Mini PCI express but I have found anyone carry it yet.

I used to have 1GB with 4GB of ram running Vista 64 and I noticed improvement during startup and the harddrive did stay less active.

I installed 4GB turbo memory today and everything is working well. The intel dashboard was loaded automatically after the driver installation.
