    Thanks usapatriot!
But I was more specifically looking for the VX855 with the C7-M processor.

What laptop make/model is it? You might be able to find one on ebay as long as the manufacturer offered the motherboard originally with the system.

I wasn't looking for a particular model. And I can't find any Via laptop motherboards on ebay. :\

Get a HP DV series with AMD athlon NEO processor, take it apart, then you get it. That's the only way I can think of to obtain it.

Laptop motherboards are really only sold to OEMs or as pulls/replacement parts.
You won't find this without doing what jackluo said.
What specifically are you looking to do?

I think I'm going to go with the motherboard from the MSI Wind, unless someone can help me find the Via boards.

Basically me and a friend are making ourselves custom tablet PCs. Yeah I realize it's a lot of work. We are going to make a custom case and everything.

I would suggest against going with MSI wind motherboard unless you really know the motherboard. EEEpc and Acer aspire one's motherboard are better documented and explorered. Also, there are more mods done on those two netbooks series thus easier to "copy".

There's a guy that's already made a tablet out of his MSI Wind. I plan to follow him a bit. But Maybe. EeePC may be cheaper, I guess. I'll consider it.

Actually, if you're buying a new nettop for this, acer aspire one is the cheapest. EEEpc is probably the most expensive ones. Quite a lot of people have mod these netbook with touchscreen as well.
