Hi
Which 7200RPM drive is better, faster has less vibration?
Seagate 7200.3 320Gb or WD Scorpio Black (320BEKT)?

Here are benchmarks for both the drives:
Seagate:

WD:

Power consumption is the same, at 2.1W at seek.
The Seagate is a bit faster but, the WD comes with a 5-year warranty versus the Seagates 3-year warranty.
Personally, I love Seagates. I do however, know many friends and others whom live and die by WD. Also, it seems that Seagate has recently had a couple bad batches of DOA and quickly failing drives. -
WD Scorpio Black (320BEKT)
I have used it for over 5 months, nothing negative. Silent and cool. -
I had a 7200.4 320gb and must return it. Vibrates and has a lot of clicking noise. A 320BEKT is on the shipping way ...

WD3200BEKT beats the Seagate 7200.3 in real world performance. It also beats the 7200.4.
