    Which CPU? T7500 or T5750

    I recently bought a m-6862 which has a T5750 and I also have a spare T7500. Specs off wikipedia are below. Any thoughts on which is the better CPU? The T5750 is low-mid range of the second gen of C2D and the T7500 is in the upper range of the 1st gen of C2D, if that makes a difference.

    T7500 2200 MHz 4 MB 800 MT/s 11x 1.0375 - 1.3 V

    T5750 2000 MHz 2 MB 667 MT/s 12x 1.0375 - 1.3 V

    The t7500 has bigger numbers in every catogory even to a novice the t7500 would look be better

    I thought so too, but it one of those where maybe the older one isn't as good as the newer one even though yada yada yada. Thanks for the confirmation.

    You answered your own question mate. As a general principal, always expect the upper range of a previous generation to outperform the entry-level of the next.

    I'd install the T7500 asap.
