I need an enclosure so i can easily clone HDD's etc. What would you recommend?

That enclosure is Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Plastic.
Probably not good, since Aluminium dissipates heat better than plastic.

Or you can just buy a USB to SATA/IDE cable. -
I was looking the TT docking thing too and it's a pretty good product. Technically, it's not an enclosure but does the same job, just quicker. I don't think you need to worry about heat with this one.

The TT dock is good, but when its not being used, put something like a bag over it so that dust does not get inside of the dock. That is the one major flaw of the dock.
I made my own external enclosure out of stainless perforated steel, and it works good. It cost me nothing to make, other than my time, and the sata to usb adaptor was taken from a friends broken mybook.
