I am getting a laptop for college and plan to do some moderate gaming w/ it (CS:S and WoW) so that would be the only reason for a better processor. The graphics card will be anything but a Intel GMA. Can I go w/ a low end Intel Core Duo Processor T2050 or should I aim for a 2400? Thanks.

    t2300, t2400, t2500, nothing less.

And all the intel GPU's suck, get at least an x1400, x1600, 7400, 7600.

Really? That stinks, I am also going to be playing a lot of ROMS on this (snes and n64 mainly), will the core duos be able to handle that?

the 7400's not a bad card. Im playing HL2 @1280x800, full settings, HDR, and 16x AF, 8xAA, looks utterly amazing and fps never drop below 30.

The 2050 is going to be able to handle games fine. Most games are not very CPU dependent, you should be fine. However, you are going to want to get a pretty good video card if you're going to want to be able to game well. I wouldn't get anything less than a 7300 or x1300.
