    Hello,
I tried many different versions of XTU 2~8 and NONE of them could actually configure voltage on my i5-3320m and i7-3820qm. For my i7-7700HQ for example, the only working version that can configure the voltage I found was v6.5.2.40. The newest one cannot.

For the 3rd gen CPUs v4.4.0.4 can ID the CPUs, and v3.2.0.24 can modify turbo but none can modify the voltage. V2 fails to install, V5 fails to ID the CPU, V6 & V7 fails to install.

Any suggestions/experience with this? Also the old versions of XTUs are almost impossible to find!

6.5.2.38 is the version I use, and yes I have had problems with newer versions not working on my lappy.

I think 3rd gen aren't able of being undervolted..
And for the 7th gen, use XTU instead.

Indeed they can't be undervolted, Haswell is the first generation that could be undervolted again.
