    Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy my first ever flat screen monitor for my PC, I'm fed up of my chunky CRT. I'm gonna be buying from the UK.

My PC is kinda old, soo I don't play any games on it anymore.
I tend to browse the net, use MS Office and watch lots of movies.

I'm a student living away from home living is shared accommodation. My PC for me is my media central, eg I use it for watching TV, listening to music, looking at photos, and watching lotsa DVDs.

I'm hoping somebody could point me towards a good monitor for around £250 or less.

I really like the shiny type monitors, saw a Samsung the other day which was really nice.

    Thanks in advance guys.

    What Size do you want?

If it's 20 or 22 inch I can tell you that the Samsung SM2032BW (20inch) £159.99 and SM2232BW (22inch) £199.99 from Laskys.com are both superb monitors, two of the best on the market right now.

    Hope that helps!
