For laptop memory. These brands are all pretty much the same price, so which would you buy?

Corsair, Geil, Mushkin, OCZ, A-Data, PNY, Partiot

    Corsair or OCZ.
But I don't have anything to really base this on, except reputation/hearsay.
But... that's what I would buy, if the price is similar.

Those are all within $1-3 of eachother so the price is negligible.

Ive always gone with corsair for desktop memory, but their laptop memory is labeled "Value Select" ... which makes is sound cheap or of lesser quality. So i wasnt sure if any of those other brands might be any better quality and more reliable

I like Crucial best. But second choice would be Corsair. But they probably all do the same thing. My opinions are just probably popularity or hearsay. But go for the one with the lowest latency, cheapest price, and longest warranty.

If you're not into overclocking, the ram doesn't matter. All are the same, especially if you get a lifetie warranty. Personally, i just upgraded my ram today to 2 gb(gotta update my sig) from micron to kingston.

Dude, 1-3 dollars is like a Big Mac. Don't tell me that's insignificant, 'cause that's tasty money there.
