    Hello!
I have a hdd (3.5) with SATA that I'd like to connect to my laptop (firewire and usb available). Probably the best way is to get a hdd enclosure.

    So the question arises:
Which enclosure would you recommend? It must have good cooling and fast data transfer.

    Thank you for yor help!
    Best regards,
    Theriel

I am not sure if there are any cheap enclosures which have fans built into them. I made my own external enclosure out of perforated stainless steel, two fans and a Western digital My book sata to usb converter. All with a 1Tb hitachi harddrive installed.

The swappable harddisk enclosure, is really cool. I think its made by thermaltake.
