    Crystal Brite from Acer
    Glare Type from Asus
    True Bright from Toshiba
    Crystal View from Siemens
    X-black from Sony
    Bright View from HP/Compaq

    is highly subjective.

IPS screens offer complete viewing angles. ASUS V6Va has them and _some_ of Sony's XBrite's as far as I know. Among other, non-IPS, screens there also can be quite a variance in terms of vertical viewing angles. I've only seen the TruBrite from Toshiba and didn't particuarly like it.

You'll be hardpressed to actually find relevant data about it. To know the response time you have to find out the panel manufacturer and read their technical docs. Then keep in mind that every manufacturer can measure it differently, so the numbers you'll get will not mean much. I guess without actually seeing the screen and testing it with some fast-paced action you will not be able to know which would satisfy you and which wouldn't.

    All should hold well.
