I have Lenovo Y500 with 2 antenna. I was looking for a better card than my 9485WB from Atheros.

I was looking at 6235 Advanced-N and 6300 Ultimate-N from Intel. Are there better solutions or cards available? By preference available on internet shops in Europe or deliverable in Europe Belgium?

The 6300 may be better than the 6235 in case the 6235 has one antenna dedicated to the BT module. In that case the 6235 may only be marginally better. But the 6300 seems expensive if you waste one free antenna slot.

The Ubiquity cards are way too expensive being 100€, and their data throughput / bandwidth was only 54 Mb/s. So there's that. 150Mb/s seemed acceptable, but 54Mb/s is far too low.

Most routers in my country (Belgium) Still have 100Mb/s. And chances are almost zero you will encounter a network with a bandwidth higher than 10MB/s (80Mb/s). Unless you like to waste money.

Bluetooth? Do I need it? Probably not. I would rather use a cable because it's so much faster. But when you have only 3 USB ports available, you never know when you can use it.

This website seemed to cut it.

29dB 3T3R. I only have two antenna's so my bandwidth will be 450Mb/s and wasting my SSD upgrade if I am ever going to. And I cannot find any shops for it sadly enough.

The question is good and I was also struggling which adapter to buy, because my HP do not have Bluetooth adapter. Not sure if these wireless adapters can make any difference, so I simply purchased the cheapest Broadcom wifi with bluetooth 4.0.

Concerning the form factor (half or full) you should probably be using the one of your existing card, which I assume is half?

And since this is Lenovo, you should see if the Y500 has a wifi whitelist, which will probably severely restrict what you can use in it.

There are unlocked bios out there for y500, re your question, ar9382 or intel 6200/6205 if you want to go the cheaper way.
