    A 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or a 2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM (2.2 GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz?

This seems like it may be an easy question but i don't know much about computers so a nice quick answer is all i need, thank you.

And actually if any of you know, for whichever one is faster/better, how much faster/better is it?

The i7-2670QM is much faster. Probably by 3-10x, depending on what you're doing.
