Which laptop could I buy that would fit these?

I recently stripped an old pre-dell m15x and ended up with a few components.

    Intel Core 2 Duo T9500
    Nvidia 9800GT MXM 2.1
    2x4GB Elpida RAM Sticks
    Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320GB

Now, if I stripped out the 15.6in 1900x1200 screen, would that fit on other computers(Non AW)?

    * The T9500 is an older CPU -- not going to find a currently sold notebook that is compatible.
    * Most laptops do not have an MXM socket. If they do, the 9800GT would fit. BUT most laptops that have an MXM socket are probably going to come with a GPU that outperforms the 9800GT.
    * Pretty sure that laptop has DDR2 memory? If so, forget about it. DDR2 was replaced with DDR3 a while ago.
    * Hard drive should fit anything provided it is SATA. I'd be dumbfounded if it wasn't a SATA drive.
    * I'm not sure about the LCD. I'm almost positive the power circuity is going to be specific to the notebook (implying it will not work on newer laptops) but I could be wrong.

Yeah, guess I should've been a bit more specific.

I'm looking for older models that fit these components, since the hardware isn't compatible with newer models.

One I've found is suitable is the Clevo M860TU.

Any other models that could fit all these components? Any help would be appreciated

May I ask why go thru all the trouble? What was wrong with the computer that you took all this from?

Dead mobo, & both broken hinges.. Had a terrible experience overall and I'd rather find some other case than fix the current one

Is there a market for these components? If I don't find anything worthwhile I'd be willing to sell these.

Someone is always buying something like the stuff your selling. I would check EBay to see what the current rate is going for.

SODIMM DDR2 4GB sticks are much more expensive now than before, so selling them will net you nicely.

Display is pretty certainly 15.4", at least the resolution is 16:10.
15.6" are generally 16:9. Anyways, it should fit most laptops that currently have 1680x1050 display. Display connectors are generally standard.

For example I could use all but the GPU for upgrading my current 8510w and probably there wouldn't be any issues.

You should have probably just sold the whole package on ebay as a dead laptop. No hassle and probably the most money.

Yeah. At least sell components and buy a new machine. You can get a lot of machine for $500-$600 and something that will outperform that 9800m and T9500. Pretty much any dedicated card today will outperform the 9800m GT and the AMD IGP's are getting close to exceeding it as well, likely will with Trinity IGP.
