Which laptop screen is currently the best in notebooks?

Like with great pictures, high definition etc.

I have Asus m50vm-A1 with this screen currently:

    15" WXGA+
Color-Shine (Glare-type), Asus Splendid Video Intelligent Technology

I am soon going to buy a new laptop, and need suggestions on what kind of screen is currently the best.

    Thanks.

the best screens available are the RGBLED screens on the dell precision m6400/m6500 and the hp elitebook 8730

second best would be the RGBLED screens available on the 15 and 16 inch dells. both the precision and studio xps line.

third best would be the 2ccfl screens available on the precision and latitude lines. personally i prefer the 2ccfl screen because its almost as good as the rgbled screen, but does not require calibration, and is brighter, and antiglare. suitable for outdoor use.

Would I see a BIG difference going from 15" WXGA+
Color-Shine (Glare-type), Asus Splendid Video Intelligent Technology to the new ones?

    What would those differences be?

dude, use the search function, there are so many threads like this.

the "asus splendid yadayada" is just marketing fluff. all it is is a normal LCD with a glossy coating. the 2ccfl and RGBLED displays are high resolution displays with wide gamuts

also, notebookcheck.net has a good review on the RGBLED display.
