U3600 is a faster CPU, but Bobcat has stronger integrated graphics.

Is the difference in speed significant?

If you aren't doing anything really CPU intensive, which given the choices I doubt you would be, no.

No, the speed difference is significant (at these low performance levels, every % is a huge gain in real world use).

If you remember the links in your other thread between the Celeron and the Atom, this 'Bobcat' is effectively an Atom.

If they were priced the same, obviously go for the U3600 but I doubt they are :)

If you say so. But I have used notebooks with the SU7300, overclocked to 1.73GHz, and they did not feel faster than my E-350. We have had this argument before, though, so there is no point going over it again.

I doubt anything with an Intel Inside sticker would feel faster for you though, but I'm sure that dv6 feels faster than the E-350 right?

I don't have it yet but in most cases I would say it won't. I rarely notice a difference between the E-350 and my previous N970. For the record, I do not act like AMD processors are even close to as fast as their Intel counterparts for anything intensive. All my point is that the difference isn't noticeable for everyday use, and I think the majority of people will agree. The reviews of the dv6-6135dx on Best Buy would support me.
