    I have a Sony Vaio VPCF13RFX
    640GB HD
    I7 processor quad
4GB DDR3 -- I want to upgrade to 8GB RAM DDR3 PC-10600 1333Mhz Do not consider price, consider best performance

I use my laptop for doing homework, watching movies, listening music, Ocassional Gaming which requires I think a good ram. I use Flight Simulator X for example, have in mind I do not play that much, just lets say once a week for 3 hours.

I want to know a little bit more about this latencies if some one can explain me which one will be better :

Crucial just says 9 and corsair says 9-9-9-24. I do not know if theres a big difference in these 2. So comments would be apreciated

So this is my question, I want to choose one of these two ram Kits, which is better, Please Do not concider price, consider which one is better between these 2:

Crucial Link Below: see Overview and click in details for other information, Yes I know is sold out:

    Newegg.com - Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1339

or do I buy Corsair Following Link, See overview and click details for more information:

    Newegg.com - CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 Laptop Memory Model CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9

Do not consider Price, consider just which one is better performance, and tell me your final desicion

Neither. Your GPU is the limiting factor (then the CPU IIRC for FSX) and nothing you're doing is going to stress out 4 GB of RAM, let alone 8.

It really depends on which Core i7 you have. Arrandale Core i7 (dual core) don't support 1333 RAM natively, they automatically downclock to 1066 so might as well buy 1066 RAM (usually a few dollars cheaper).

But faster RAM doesn't mean anything in real world use, or gaming. Only in synthetic benchmarks and rendering will you see a minute difference. And Flight Simulator X is more harsh on your GPU/CPU

ok lets take out the fsx idea, which one is better for multitasking.
I know will be using more than 3gb of ram, so I want my laptop to be happy, not stressing the ram

Mylaptop cpu is I7 Q740 Quad core, I know it supports 1333ram

I just want to choose between this two brands, sorry for me being so stubborn , i just want the best between the links i posted

Then either or will work. I personally have the Crucial 8 GB 1333 kit and it works.

I've had good luck with Crucial and Corsair, so either or.

It really doesn't matter whether you go with some brand name you are familiar with or not. Just get whatever is cheaper. RAM is a commodity. People talk about warranty, but if it isn't working or having problems when you get it, just return it to the seller. If you buy it and it works and checks out fine once you get it, much like a processor, it isn't going to go bad on its own.
