    Hi all.

    In my dell inspiron 9100 I currently have the ati mobility radeon 9700 128mb, i use my laptop as a games machine and find that new releases are becoming jerky. Will the DELL G5117 ATI 256MB M18 VGA CARD FOR INSPIRON 9100 improve the performance by much if any at all? Alternatively could you recommend a graphics card that will make my machine run games well. I have 3.2 p4, 512 ram, 7200 speed harddrive. many thanks for looking.

    My first recommendation would be to drop a gigabyte of RAM in. It'll cost $60 and should make a big difference. Someone who knows more about video cards can answer your initial question better than I can.
