    How do i find out what ram is suitable for my notebook? I want to put another 1 gig or 2 gig in my Lenovo R61i. Thanks.

    just go on crucial.co.uk or crucial.com and use their memory configurator by selecting your laptop from the list. This way you avoid the nightmare of memory being incompatible, best way to do it my experience.

    You need notebook RAM (DDR2 200-pin SO-DIMM) which is smaller than desktop RAM (240-pin).

    I'd stick with a reputable maker such as Crucial, Corsair, Kingston or OCZ.
