Hello, I'm new to the site and looking for some assistance!

I'm planning on purchasing an HP Pavillion dv6700t and I'm working on configuring it. I'm a college student with a very tight budget and I'm trying to trim out all the unnecessary stuff. I'm very confused in regard to the wireless card: I'm given the following options:

    -802.11b/g WLAN (default)
    -Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (+$10)
    -Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection (+$40)
    -Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection and Bluetooth (+$60)

The default option is out of the question because I'm upgrading my graphics card and apparently the two are incompatible (not sure why, any ideas?). I'm not really interested in Bluetooth--my sister has it in her laptop and never uses it (let me know if you think it's worthwhile, though). Basically, I'm wondering the difference between the 3945ABG and the 4695AGN. The descriptions given on the HP site are useless (big surprise), so I'm wondering which is the best option for me.

Any help would be much appreciated! If you need any more info on my part, I'll be happy to provide it.

Basically any of the network cards that have an N by their name require a compatible router to take full advantage of their speed capabilities (but, they will work with regular routers). So if you pay that extra money for the N card you might as well spend the extra money for the router as well or it just is a waste of your money. But if the standard G card not compatible with your graphics card for some reason i would just go with the 3945, I means its only $10.

    Thanks for the help!

If anyone else wants to chime in, feel free. I'm probably not going to buy it for at least another week or so, so I'm definitely open for some more opinions.

I would go with the 4965. It runs coller then the 3945.

Definitely get bluetooth one. I got a laptop without it and been struggling to find ways to add bluetooth internally. you can get external usb bluetooth dongle but too much hassel and easy to break it.

This one is enough, Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945AGN Network Connection , as it's very cheap and especially if you don't need a bluetooh. Draft-N is still uncommon and it requires compatible router to work with.
