Is the panther 5 chassis made by eurocom or is it a rebrand? If rebrand, from what?

It's a rebrand, as MrDJ points out.
-
They operate much like many manufactures like the automobile industry for example, which has been swapping/trading chassis like that for decades. A Dodge mini van is actually a VW microbus shell.
In the case of GM all of their division share the same platform basic platforms particularly prominent in their SUVs. Your Eurocom, would be the Escalade of the bunch. -
It's a rebrand of the Clevo P570WM as pointed out... Quite a beast I must say and very much unmatched.. It's a bit too heavy for me though
-
If you had to pull stumps, you wouldn't have much of a choice. Its a heavy duty machine, for heavy duty tasks.
-
It's too heavy tbh.. I rather have something like the P771ZM with i7-4790K + SLI (which Clevo should announce soon..).. I'll be waiting for a Skylake Desktop CPU + SLI/CF in a Clevo notebook which should be out early next year hopefully...

panther 5 is for people who prefer a laptop experience over a desktop and will only need to move their laptop once every few years ie people like me

Dodge Minivan is NOT a VW microbus... Dodge and Chrysler Minivans are 100% Chrysler design. Chrysler did design and build the VW Routan for VW, but it was just the Chrysler body and chassis with an interior redesign. How do I know? I was a Chrysler engineer on the Minivan interior products for a good 5-6 years and on the VW program somewhat as well.Jarhead, tilleroftheearth and TomJGX like this.
Who makes the panther 5 chassis?
