    Why does system restore ever work on my laptop?

    It's weird I tried to system restore and it reboots and then says something like system restore was not incompleted, yet this happens to every restore point I pick.

    Well I don't think that system restore ever worked for me. Also how can it be time to do a format because I've only had my laptop since last month.

    Maybe your initial windows install was flawed...so if you did reformat it would install a new fresh clean version for you. What kind of computer is it anyway?
