    Hi,

    I have both a Seagate Momentus ST9100824AS (100GB 5400rpm) and a Toshiba MK1246GSX HDD2D91 (120GB 5400rpm).

I can only put one in my SZ and would like to know wich is best, I don't care as much for storage, more about boot up time, reading and writing speed, quality.

I thought the Seagate hat an SATA 150 and the Toshiba a SATA 300 interface, is this true and would that make the Toshiba faster?

    With kind regards,

    Bart

Install the Seagate, install Windows and HDTune, run the benchmark and measure the boot time.
Install the Toshiba, install Windows, just do the same.

Compare both benchmark results and boot times, and use the faster drive.

PS: The drives are slower than SATA 150, so the interface will not make any difference.
