well, when I use my speakers via the headphone plug, and try to listen some music in wmp from time to time there is a wierd buzzing sound and also sometimes the song starts loud and then its like if the volume would reduce itslef which is really wierd and annoying, the odd part is that when I play wow this doesnt happen, the environment sounds and everything are great in wow there is no buzzing or sound reduction only in wmp..when I plug the speakers in my desktop the sound is flawless only happens on my wmp on the laptop, driver is realtek HD audio, any ideas?

It helps if you post the make and model of your laptop.

Even better, place it in your sig.

AFAIK, the buzzing sounds typically come from hardware interference. You should ask a moderator to move this thread to the Gateway forum. Maybe people with similar models will have better insight and solutions.
