    Wifi card power boost?

    Hey, I just had another one of my ideas. Idk if it's been tried before or not but here goes

    If you got the antenna and soldered it to the chasis (assuming you have a metal chasis) would it make the whole laptop into a huge antenna?

    If not (possibly from the chasis being earthed), would you be able to put in coils of wire to make it stronger?

    Did you graduate from DeVry?

    One, you couldn't solder an antenna to a metal chassis because it would be too much of a heat sink. Coils of wire is just too ridiculous to respond to.

    Antennas must have a specfic size, depending on the wavelength they want receive, so no, it won't work.
