Heya guys, just wondering if the archetictural(spelling?) structures of the processors would enable my UL30VT to upgrade, to an I7, 1 year down the road?

What I"m intending is to let the UL30JT come up, and bombing out the UL30VT price so I can grab one cheap, and upgrade it's processor later on. Would that be possible?

Nope. Different sockets...different chipsets...CPU is likely soldered in.

not possible at all... Different series , socket and chipset and considering SU7400(?) is a CULV processor , it soldered to the motherboard... ur better off buying the i7 laptop now...

Much appreciate all your responses gang. In this case I'll just forgo the newer technology first, as the CULV is good enough for my needs for these few years, unless if some other standards exceeds HDMI in the near future...!
