My sister accidentally squeezed her hot water bottle which few drops of water landed on the speaker surface. I'm concerned if my speakers are damaged and it has been 8-9 hours since it happened. I checked the speakers and it sounds normal but worried if there could be quality lost.

Sorry I didnt know where to post it

If we're talking few drops of water the answer is no - it won't damage the speakers.
Dunking them in water is not recommended though ;)

Quality? Very doubtful. Leave it in a warm place to dry out fully if you're worried - although if you've used it since, the heat from the system itself will probably have dried it for you.

If I was you I would've dissemble and check for any other leaks before turning it back on or putting the battery back in.

I don't think a few drops of water could damage a laptop speaker. Your speakers will probably won't work at all or heavily distort if anything happened to them.
