Does anyone think the Sandy Bridge issue may have a effect on the IVY Bridge release date which I assume will be jan 2012?

Meaning since the issue pushed back to release of mobile Sandy Bridge then they will have a shorter amount of time to get rid of a certain amount of those processors before releasing the IVY Bridge. Will the manufactures complain about not having enough time to sell the Sandy Bridge inventory?

Nope, CES 2012 same as usual. Or maybe not since there is still an over supply of Arrandale Core i3's...

I doubt it will affect it very much at all. One year from launch is so far into the development timeline that I doubt Intel is going to miss a beat. I could imagine Intel doing some extra quality control this time around :D
