I have an "Samsung NP550P7C-S02UK" with an Intel Ivy Bridge Chipset

This is the memory i am looking at it is 1.35v , I have heard it will run at 1.5v if my motherboard does not support 1.35v is that correct.

    CT2KIT102464BF160B - 16GB kit (8GBx2), 204-pin SODIMM , DDR3 PC3-12800 from Crucial.com

Below is from Cpu-z , I currently have 6gb in my notebook.

I am pretty certain it will work, i just need a second opinion.

    Thanks

    John.

My i7-3610QM does not seem to support DDR3L which is 1.35v :(

So long as it's DDR3 and 204-pin, it should work.

I decided to go for the CL-9 1.5V memory from ebay, I do quite a bit of video conversion so the faster memory might help, opposed to the lower voltage 1.35V as have an 17" notebook and it`s a desktop replacement battery life is not so important.

    +REP to privatejarhead , thanks

I received the ebay memory the other day, they sent me cl-11 memory and not the cl-9 as described in the ebay listing, i have sent they two messages and received no response so i have opened an ebay dispute as i could have bought cl-11 for quite a bit cheaper.
