Well, like many others, my HP died of the faulty Nvidia graphic card problem. It's not under the recall list so I am really out of luck. Now, I am thinking of reviving the system...the laptop came originally with fru # 440777 motherboard, I want to avoid Nvidia all together, and I found out fru #440778 could fit in my system as well. Does anyone have experience with this board? What GPU comes with it? And will it work with my existing C2D T5300 CPU and other parts? Thanks in advance!

Btw, a little about my system

Only buy the original motherboard for the laptop, that is the only one you should use. Th other parts in your laptop might only function with the one that was meant for it.
